Wears Valley Engagement Session in the GSMNP

Fall Engagement Session at The Missing Link on Foothills Parkway

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is THE perfect place for engagement sessions. This Wears Valley engagement session was taken on Foothills Parkway this fall. The leaves on the trees are almost gone, but the color of the sun on the mountains almost brings the colors back!

Calista and Kaleb met in high school. Their Art teacher was the one that suggested they would make a great couple. After some time of the Art teacher saying it, Calista finally reached out expecting nothing to come out of it, but here they are today, five years later! Kaleb popped the question on October 17, 2020. They decided to travel to the GSMNP for a little getaway and their Wears Valley engagement photos!

If you can’t tell by our other blog posts, we LOVE photographing by the mountains. This spot in particular is my absolute favorite to bring out of town clients to. The sun sets right behind the mountains here, and several people gather every evening to watch it set. I have seen people bring a cooler for sandwiches, a grill, and bag chairs to hang out at this spot. It is still not a well known location, but it is seemingly getting more popular each time we shoot out here! I 10/10 recommend checking it out.

Willow + Rove is a Wears Valley engagement photographer based out of East Tennessee. We serve clients who live all over the Unites States, and some even outside of the country! Sevier County is one of the top tourist locations for weddings. The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is the number one most visited National Park in the US as well. We would love to photograph you and your babe. Shoot us a message today to book!
