“Do you ever have those days where you can’t wait for the kids to fall asleep then scroll through your phone looking at their photos as soon as they do? I could spend hours looking at their smiles, milestones, and fun times. When I’m at home sitting on the couch or even in my bedroom laying down I stare at all of my photos of our family. Photos from my marriage, my pregnancies, the birth of my children, their birthdays, and holidays. Nothing makes me happier than having these memories to look back on forever. One of my favorite pastimes is looking at old photographs from my childhood, and I am so happy I can give my family the gift of looking back at our most intimate memories.
Recently, I had some very personal photos taken of my son and I. In light of National Breastfeeding Week recently passing, my family photographer, who has also grown to be my best friend (WIN!) asked to snap some photos. Words cannot express how much sweet milestones like this mean to me. I am only one month away from successfully breastfeeding my second baby to twelve months. It is so bittersweet to know our journey is about to reach an end, but having something so close to my heart to look back on means the world to me.”
