After contacting several amazing Walland photographers to photographer her family at Blackberry Mountain, Willow + Rove was the winner. I couldn’t be happier that Romina chose us to capture these precious moments of her family, and this stage in her pregnancy. You guys, this mama was GLOWING! Not only that, but little Daniel did so well and he has such a beautiful smile too! Did I mention he got his name from his dad, Daniel? One more fun fact, both of the workers that greeted me up at Blackberry Mountain Lodge were names Daniel, too. What a weird coincidence!

Romina wanted a laid back, fun session that wasn’t as pose-y as a normal session would be. She sent me inspiration photos of families just interacting and playing with each other, so that is what I was determined to deliver. I think I did pretty well, but you can take a look for yourself!

The series of photos below have to be my favorite by-far. I mean, would you just look at that mountain view?! If you haven’t been up to Blackberry Mountain or Blackberry Farm, you definitely need to check it out if you’re in the area.

While baby Daniel was getting a drink of water, I pulled mom and dad aside to get some couples maternity photos, which I am obsessed with!
