Ashley contacted us a few months back regarding a couples session in the mountains. They are vacationing all the way from Maryland, and wanted to hire a photographer for a little date! Those are my favorite types of sessions. Naturally, I chose The Missing Link at Foothills Parkway in Pigeon Forge. This is the new section of Foothills Parkway that connects the two sides of the parkway. It has the most amazing mountain views, and not a whole lot of traffic (yet!)

Would you just LOOK at those amazing views from this spot! It’s one of my favorite spots to go when our clients request mountain views. And to even just have a picnic!

 

Of course, for a change of scenery, you can head to the other side where there’s minimal forestry. It worked perfect for what we needed it for.

Traffic is very limited up here at Foothills Parkway, so that calls for some road shots – one of my favorites to capture.

Ashley informed me that they had an all black outfit change, and she brought a smoke bomb. And masks. It was pure perfection.

The world we live in today – with COVID-19 – calls for the necessary mask photograph. How else can we explain it to our kids in a few years?

Back over to the mountains, because little did I know, something big was about to happen!

Tyler dropped to one knee and pulled out a ring. Ya’ll.. I didn’t even know this was going to happen. We were wrapping up the session and I was the least bit prepared, but never fear! I was able to capture the special moment between them.

It’s a stunner!
