What a journey it has been leading up to this Summer Knoxville Wedding! With COVID-19 destroying all of 2020, we were worried we would have to postpone this one. I am thankful this gorgeous couple didn’t postpone! I need to release my creativity on a regular basis and COVID-19 has been keeping us photographers from that! Here’s their story:
Mckenzie + Austin met in high school and then began dating when they started working together three years later. It’s weird how life works like that! He proposed on a cliff in Curaçao on their spring break cruise trip. They got the engagement ring from the same cruise ship after having looked for a whole year for the one Mckenzie wanted. They went and saw the ring 4 nights in a row before Austin bought it.
Knoxville weddings are such a favorite of ours! Here’s this couple’s first look.
Mckenzie’s FAVORITE moment of the day was the actual ceremony and getting pictures with the cows. She also enjoyed having her first look with each other and no one else.
The White Barn at Cruze Farms is a popular Knoxville wedding venue with gorgeous views of The Great Smoky Mountains!
We asked the bride to describe her wedding day in her own words, and this is what she said: “Our wedding day was chaotic like the devil had a hold of it but we made it! It turned out to be a beautiful day even with all the bad things that happened. I am so happy we took as many photos as we did because that’s my thing. I love remover memories with photos.”
One piece of advice Mckenzie wants to let other brides to know, “Don’t sweat the small stuff, roll with the punches, nothing is going to be perfect even if you think it will be. Everything will go wrong and you just have to laugh it off or you will drive yourself insane.”
