Lindsay and Diego’s wedding at The Trillium Venue in Sevierville, Tennessee, was full of the kind of moments I never want a couple to forget. They celebrated on July 27, 2024, with their children and families, a black and white palette, white flowers, and Smoky Mountain views. Their day moved from quiet family moments to a ceremony on the patio, then into a reception with a few wonderful surprises.
Getting Ready at The Trillium Venue
The morning began with Lindsay and her daughter in the bridal suite. Her family helped with the dress, jewelry, and those small finishing touches that often become some of the most meaningful photographs. Diego got ready nearby, and each of them had time for a first look with family before the ceremony.

We also used the mountain backdrop for portraits. I like giving couples a little time to enjoy the view together instead of filling every minute with poses. That breathing room made space for photographs that feel like Lindsay and Diego.
A Patio Ceremony with a Butterfly Release
The ceremony took place on the patio at The Trillium Venue. Diego walked in with his parents, his daughters greeted him, and Lindsay came down the aisle with her two dads. The couple included their children in a butterfly release, then shared their first kiss as a married couple.

After the ceremony, we made portraits on the patio and with the Smoky Mountains behind them. The venue gave us a mix of close family photographs and wider frames that show where the day happened. Those views are beautiful, but the way Lindsay and Diego looked at each other is what brings the gallery to life.
A Reception Full of Personality
Their reception had first dances, heartfelt speeches, and a surprise birthday cupcake for Diego’s mother. Later, Lindsay’s sister and another guest took over the dance floor for an unplanned karaoke duet. We stepped away for a few nighttime photographs with a 1957 Bentley S1 before the couple ended the evening with a bubble exit.
