Gorgeous Heartland Meadows Wedding in Knoxville

Nicole & Dagean’s wedding at Heartland Meadows was absolutely full of laughter and adventure. The sporadic sprinkles of rain stopped no one from having a great time. As a bride, having a first look with your bridesmaids is a stellar idea! Their reaction is one of my favorite shots to get during the day. These are your favorite people that you are allowing to spend your special day with you up at the altar, and they are just as happy for you, if not more, than your family members and guests!

Just after the bridesmaids first look with Nicole, her dad came in for some alone time. He has a special surprise for her; her grandmother’s ring! He said he didn’t want to get it sized because her fingerprints are still on it, and it makes it that much more special. Of course she burst into happy tears!

A first look with the groom closes out the first looks. What an amazing time it is for them to be able to spend a few minutes alone before the ceremony.

Portraits took place right after the first looks. The lighting was pristine with a full sky of clouds! We got rained out of portraits, but that didn’t stop us. To the barn we went! The rain stopped with just enough time for us to finish outdoor portraits and have the ceremony. Seriously, it was a perfect day.

But wait, it doesn’t stop there! Guests weren’t the only people on the dance floor… A baby copperhead decided to join everyone, and gave everyone a bit of a scare. No worries, though, Dagean took care of it real quick!

We danced the night away and ended it all with a bubble exit! Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Long!

Here is their first look!

And that’s a wrap!
