GSMNP Elopement at Ike LeQuire Overlook

A gorgeous elopement at Ike LeQuire Overlook in Cades Cove, Townsend. Here’s a run-down of their story as told by Chasity!

Ryan and Chasity met in 2016 when we were both out for the night in Edinboro, PA and hit it off. Since then, they have been best friends and love doing everything together. Ryan popped the question on Christmas Day 2018 before Chasity’s family party in Conneaut Lake, PA. He incorporated it in to their planned couples photo, in front of the lighted Christmas trees surrounding the lake, by Chasity’s little sister. They set the date to get married for August 1, 2020 in Erie, PA, however, corona virus had other plans. They chose to postpone until August of 2021. After talking about taking their get away to one of their favorite spots, they decided to elope in the Smoky Mountains in front of family. They still plan to have a reception in 2021 with family, but how many people can say in the future “We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, but we eloped in the Smoky Mountains!”

I think that Ike LeQuire Overlook was the perfect location for these two gorgeous people to elope! I am happy to have been there with them on this magical day.
