Foothills Parkway Proposal
It was a chilly Monday evening up at Foothills Parkway for this Pigeon Forge Proposal session. Surprisingly, we still had a bit of leaves on the trees to add some fall coloring to these photographs.

When Dylan contacted me for a couples session, he didn’t mention his plan to propose until a little later on. We made no plan (probably nerve racking for the both of us), I just trusted our telepathy to take over. And it did. The sun was setting behind the mountains, the lighting was perfect, there weren’t many passersby. It was the perfect, intimate moment for him to drop to a knee and pop the question.
Since Dylan and Tori are both in the photography/videography industry (with their company Cacti Palm), it was totally normal for them to have a session planned. So when I say that this was unexpected for her, it absolutely was a surprise. The only thing that she could say was “Oh. My. God.” about 400 times. I couldn’t help but smile and be extremely happy for them. I absolutely love getting to photograph these moments in couples’ lives!
About Foothills Parkway in Pigeon Forge
‘The Missing Link‘ began construction in 1966, and finished 52 years later in 2018. The 16 mile parkway has been connected for two years and you can now drive the entire thing straight through. It has one of the most amazing views of The Great Smoky Mountains and I love taking couples up here to photograph them with its amazing mountain sunset. Also, of course, it is a great spot for a Pigeon Forge proposal!
