COVID-19 really put a damper on these two love bird’s wedding. They had planned to have over 100 guests. Well, as many of you know, COVID-19 hit. Gatherings over 50 people were banned. Many weddings were being postponed or cancelled. Not this wedding, though! Erin and Evan were not going to let this pandemic ruin their plans to get married on May 24. That was their date and they were sticking to it! After venues cancelling on them not once, not twice, but four times, they finally were able to settle on Sampson’s Hollow in Townsend.

After speaking with the owners of Sampson’s Hollow, they told me that they have been booking out through 2021 like crazy due to postponements. Some weekends they have three weddings back to back to back! That’s crazy talk. This small elopement turned out to be beautiful anyways, regardless of the hurdles these two had to jump. I am so happy to be apart of weddings like these.
