Before I dive into the amazing details of this Pigeon Forge Wedding at The Magnolia, I want to share a short snippet Kate and Chris’s backstory. Kate and Chris met at work, like many couples do. Chris proposed in the middle of Central Park in NYC, and then they later went and picked up her ring on Fifth Avenue. “It truly felt like I was living in a scene from a movie!” Kate says.
Kate’s style vision was “neutral, neutral and neutral.” If she could not walk outside and find the color naturally, she knew it wouldn’t work for their wedding. She ended up sticking with sage green and white. Their style was definitely romantic with some southern charm! They made their seating chart with the help of her amazing dad and it ended up being one of her favorite touches! They also had a cigar bar, which was a big hit along with a signature drink, The Chloe Grace. Their pup couldn’t be with them on their big day so they wanted to include her and this was the perfect way!
We asked, “What was your favorite moment?” to which Kate said “My favorite moment was after the ceremony when Chris and I got to walk down the aisle as husband and wife! I have never felt more at peace and such joy!”
“Our flowers were all assorted shades of white and lots of greenery! We stuck with that theme of neutral throughout the cake, white buttercream with the same flowers. Our favors were actually little honey jars, from a local honey farm close to us in Ohio. It meant a lot to be able to include a piece of home.”
Kate said, “Our wedding day was so perfect from start to finish, it was a 73 degree day and full sun on top of a mountain in Pigeon Forge, TN. I honestly do not think you could top that! The love that was felt the entire day was overwhelming and we wish that we could relive it over and over.”
My personal favorite part of the day is photographing all of the details. The little things that the bride is going to wear or use are equally as important as anything else. The dress, the rings, the perfume. Even the cake, the reception hall, the venue itself, ect. are so important! Check it out!
One piece of advice Kate would like to give to future brides is, “Do exactly what you want and do not let anyone try to convince you that the colors you like may not match or the style is not right. It is your wedding day and it should represent your style and your grooms style! Be confident in your decisions and do not second guess yourself!”
I’d like to take the time to thank all of the other amazing vendors who helped make this day happen!
