December Winter Greenbrier Elopement
The night before this Greenbrier elopement, the forecast was calling for snow all through the night. To say I got extremely excited would be an understatement. This part of East Tennessee gets about 2-3 good snow days per year. That’s it. Samantha and Bill were lucky to be able to elope in such a beautiful place with everything covered in snow! Not only were they lucky, but I was lucky to get to photograph them. It is always a dream come true when I get to photograph snowy sessions. A rare occasion at that.
Greenbrier #2 in the Smoky Mountains
Greenbrier #2 is a gorgeous location for your small wedding, or elopement. While there are no mountain views out there, it is an incredible option if you are searching for greenery and forestry. Samantha was searching for just that, and well, it turned white. A permit is required for any event or micro-wedding being held here, or any part of the GSMNP. Photographers must also hold a CUA license to shoot anywhere in the park as well. With that being said, we are CUA license holders, so you don’t even have to worry about that part!
Willow + Rove would love to capture your wedding or elopement at Greenbrier! Maybe you, too, will get lucky with a snowy day. I’m going to call this good luck! Contact us today so we can chat about what you are dreaming up. We would love to have you.
