The most beautiful images come from my clients interacting with me and their partner. Cody talked and laughed the entire session, and I AM HERE FOR IT. That’s how you get the most candid photos! The love these two have for each other speaks through these images. They have been married for three years, working on four. They said they get photos done every year, and I love that! After much discussion, we landed at the Caylor Gap Overlook on Foothills Parkway in Wears Valley.
This is their obligatory anniversary photo with a giant foil balloon! It’s the cutest thing ever, if you ask me.
Did I mention Justine is also a photographer herself? If you’re from Minnesota, check her out! It is such an honor when I get to photograph other photographers. It solidifies everything I have worked for, and makes me feel like I am accomplishing my goals! We did a few branding photos for her, for the social media content of course.
WHEN THAT SUN WENT DOWN, THOUGH. Golden hour is prime shooting time! It’s the reason I only schedule sunrise and sunset sessions. I need ALL the golden hour in my life and nothing else.
I put this photo last because it isn’t my typical edit, or style. However, I had to include it here because it turned out amazing. Silhouettes aren’t usually my jam, but at this particular moment, I went for it.
